Not that rigs don't have restrooms, it's just an inconvenience for personnel on the rig floor during certain operations, like tripping pipes, when they have to be working round the clock with little breaks in between. Most of the time, there will be a designated piss pot or drain at one corner of the rig floor, or sometimes it will be just a platform that will allow you to piss straight into the ocean. The latter depends entirely on the direction of the wind, with no walls, what comes out will just be gone with the wind.

It was raining, everyone was drenched. Roustabout Cormier came up to the rig floor and yelled, "Who fking pissed on me?"
I guess he felt something warm and tasted kinda funny. Que probecito, pero it's kinda funny to hear that.
